The New York Times has posted an interesting article that maps out regional differences in speech after a user answers a few questions about pronunciation and usage. it's pretty accurate and it's very interesting from a word snoot perspective. Find "How U'all, Youse and You Guys Talk" here.

NBC News reports on "uptalk," the practice of ending sentences with verbal questom marks, a practice that's become so common the article concludes "we all talk like Valley Girls now." Sigh.
